3 Years B. Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration Degree (B. Sc. H&HA)

The institute offers 3 Years Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration and 4 Years Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration in collaboration with the NCHMCT under its association with JNU.

The 3-year course (divided in six semesters) and 4-year course (divided into 8 semesters) is carefully planned and structured to equip students with the proficiency, knowledge, and attitude to efficiently discharge responsibilities in the hospitality sector. The program involves extensive training modules to aid the students in acquiring required knowledge and skill standards in the operational areas of:

  • Food Production
  • Front Office Operations
  • Food and Beverage Service
  • Housekeeping
  • Research (In 4th Year of Honours Program)

It also provides managerial inputs in Hotel Accountancy, Food Safety and Quality, Human Resource Management, Facility Planning, Financial Management, Strategic Management, Tourism Marketing, and Tourism Management.

The Diploma in Food Production and Bakery & Patisserie is offered in association with NCHMCT. Each of these are full-time regular courses. They are structured as one-and-a-half-year programmes spread over three semesters.

The Lalit Suri Hospitality School specializes in these vocational training as it provides students the platform to test their knowledge in state-of-the-art kitchens. The modules are developed keeping international standards in mind, and prepare the students for the competitive environment of the hospitality industry. To monitor student progress, the institute conducts annual and mid-term examinations to evaluate theoretical and practical knowledge.
