Eligibility Criteria

  • Completed UG in a relevant field with 3 years’ relevant experience OR
  • 12th Grade pass with 4 years’ relevant experience OR
  • Previous relevant qualification of NSQF Level 4 with 1.5 years’ relevant experience OR
  • Previous relevant qualification of NSQF Level 3.5 with 3 years’ relevant experience

Minimum Age: 18 years


Key Learning Outcomes

  • Explain the procedure to prepare the kitchen for food preparation
  • Assist the Chef De Partie or Sous Chef in preparing food
  • Supervise, train, and groom Commis Chefs
  • Assist the Head Chef while monitoring stock and inventory
  • Promote effective communication with guests, colleagues, and superiors for smooth workflow
  • Ensure gender- and age-sensitive service practices
  • Protect confidentiality of organizational information and guests’ privacy
  • Monitor health, hygiene, and safety standards at the workplace
